How Options30 Works

Options30 is an automated technical-alert and educational-information service. Here is the process from beginning to end.

1

Step 1: Predefined Technical Rules Monitor the Market

Options30 uses predefined technical conditions to monitor selected underlying securities. Depending on the strategy being used, those conditions may consider information such as:

  • Price movement
  • Opening-range levels
  • VWAP
  • Moving-average relationships
  • Trading volume
  • Relative volume
  • Support and resistance
  • Momentum
  • Time of day
  • Trend direction

The rules may change as the service is updated. An indicator, score or technical condition is not proof that a trade will be profitable.

2

Step 2: The System Generates an Automated Alert

When the required technical conditions are detected, an automated message may be generated. A typical alert may contain:

  • Ticker
  • Underlying price
  • Date and time
  • Bullish or bearish technical direction
  • Setup category
  • Setup score
  • General contract-search guidelines
  • General risk considerations
  • A disclaimer

Alerts may use terms such as "buy," "sell," "bullish" or "bearish" to describe a technical condition or directional setup. These labels do not constitute an instruction or recommendation to enter, exit or hold any security.

3

Step 3: Options30 Provides General Contract-Search Guidelines

Options30 does not automatically select a live options contract. Instead, an alert may give general research guidelines, such as:

  • Look approximately seven days from expiration
  • Look near a specified strike area
  • Consider a stated maximum premium
  • Consider a general delta range
  • Verify volume and open interest
  • Verify bid-ask spread
  • Verify liquidity
  • Verify all Greeks and contract specifications

These are general educational criteria, not a statement that any contract meeting them is suitable, correctly priced or likely to be profitable. Actual options pricing and availability can change in seconds.

4

Step 4: The Member Independently Verifies Everything

Before taking any action, the member must independently confirm:

  • The ticker and direction
  • The current underlying price
  • The expiration date and strike price
  • The option type (call or put)
  • The current bid and ask
  • The contract premium
  • Open interest and volume
  • Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega
  • Implied volatility and liquidity
  • Position size and maximum possible loss
  • Entry and exit plan
  • Personal financial suitability

Information should be confirmed directly through the member's own broker or another source the member considers reliable. Options30.com is not responsible for errors in brokerage data, exchange data, third-party data or information entered into an alert.

5

Step 5: The Member Makes the Entire Trading Decision

The member alone decides:

  • Whether to trade
  • Whether to ignore the alert
  • Which security or contract to use
  • When to enter and when to exit
  • How much capital to commit
  • How much loss to accept
  • Whether the trade is appropriate for the member

Options30.com does not know the member's financial position, debts, income, investment objectives, tax situation, experience or risk tolerance. For that reason, Options30 cannot determine whether any setup is appropriate for a particular member.

6

Step 6: Alerts Are Delivered Through Third-Party Services

Alerts may be delivered through services such as:

  • Discord
  • Email
  • A membership platform
  • A website dashboard
  • Mobile or browser notifications

These third-party platforms may experience interruptions, delays, outages, account restrictions or technical failures. Options30.com does not guarantee that an alert will be delivered, received, opened or acted upon before market conditions change. Members should never rely on an alert-delivery system as their only method of monitoring an open position.

Important Limitations

An alert may:

  • Be incorrect
  • Be delayed
  • Be duplicated
  • Be incomplete
  • Contain inaccurate pricing
  • Become invalid before it is received
  • Be based on faulty or incomplete market data
  • Fail to arrive
  • Arrive after a market move
  • Identify a setup that immediately reverses
  • Produce a financial loss

Options30.com does not guarantee the number, frequency, timing, accuracy or profitability of alerts. Past alerts and past market behavior do not guarantee future results.
